I have been involved in energy conservation since 1960 as my parents were survivors of the great depression and we were raised to be savers not wasters. My first true employment engagement was in the mid 1970's when I was paid to give away free appliences for AEP and Columbia Gas, then the energy crisis hit and gasoline price jumped from 17 to 35 cents within days.
Today I own Athens County's first business that did total air sealing, duct sealing and "energy weatherization" way back Iin the days way before those terms were invouge as they are now.. The company is ENERGY SMART - AN ALTERNATIVE ENERGY.
