Event Description
“Green” and “Sustainability” have become synonymous with high-performance buildings that reduce consumption of energy and raw materials, and improve the indoor environment. This seminar explores the components of sustainable design and construction, and lays out the benefits of going green. It will also:
*Introduce the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) Certification program.
*Highlight the impacts of Senate Bill 221 on Ohio’s energy requirements
*Outline strategies and incentives for creating energy-efficient, sustainable buildings.
